Join the Global Goals Leaders

The Business & Sustainable Development Commission is mobilising a growing community of executives who want to align their companies with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or Global Goals.
Encourage other leaders to join!

The Business Commission recommends six steps for companies to unlock the Global Goals opportunities. Become a Global Goals Leader by undertaking one or more of these actions:

  1. Encourage your CEO and other company leaders to understand and act on the SDG business opportunities presented in Better Business, Better World.

  2. Appoint a board member to champion the Global Goals, and hold a board session on how to mainstream the SDGs to drive growth, improve productivity and lower risks.

  3. Establish and publish targets that commit your company to transforming its social and environmental footprint in line with the most relevant SDGs.

  4. Join with sector peers to develop and execute "transformation roadmaps" aligned with the Global Goals.

  5. Review key policy and regulatory positions to ensure they support SDG delivery.

  6. Link executive compensation meaningfully to SDG-related corporate performance.
